What happens at Wondrous Woods?
This is an exciting outdoor magical illuminated adventure, that journeys through the magnificent private and ancient woodland grounds of Gosford House.
You will wander on foot through a 1.5km route of beautifully lit woodland trails that wind through the hidden gardens and woods. Will you be able to spot Woody the Owl and his friends hiding amongst the trees?
Look out for our live interactive characters round the trail.
You will meander through ancient woodlands, clearings, around ponds and pass some charming historical buildings and outhouses. Remember to look up, and down, and keep your eyes on the water to see some of our majestic magic creatures!
Alongside the characters, the innovative installations and creative lighting within the naturally beautiful estate grounds, the experience is enhanced with emotive soundscapes, spectacular laser effects, stunning holographic projections and a range of special effects.
Wondrous Woods at Gosford House is an exciting sensory extravaganza, a journey through a land of mystery and magic. It is an interactive illuminated adventure, and is not to be missed.
Visitor Information
How long will the trail take to walk?
We would expect you to be with us for between 1 - 2 hours. More if you want to relax and enjoy firepits, catering and entertainment at Woody’s Nest.
Can we walk the trail again?
Yes, you can walk the trail again and again.
When do I need to be at Gosford House?
The time on your ticket is your allocated time to arrive for parking. We are asking all our guests to arrive as close to that time as possible please

What happens when I arrive?
You will be directed to a car parking space. Please adhere to our stewards directions as there is a planned parking strategy in place. Once you are parked you will make your way to the entrance area and your tickets will be scanned via the QR code on your phone.
